چکیده

TiO2 photoanodes have gained significant attention for the removal of organic pollutants through photoelectrocatalytic processes, with aim developing a cost-effective and efficient method improving degradation in surface water. This study investigated effects adding titanium nanooxide (Degussa P25) containing 70% anatase 30% rutile phases on properties nanostructured prepared glass substrates (indium tin oxide (ITO)) using sol–gel/dip coating techniques The results obtained from ultraviolet–visible transmittance spectroscopy, electrochemical (EC) impedance photocurrent, atomic force microscopy analyses revealed that addition Degussa P25 improved electrical conductivity TiO2/ITO anode reduced optical bandgap 3.50 to 3.35 eV, while size particles decreased about 75 nm. EC spectra measurement confirms anode. photoelectrocatalysis (PEC) performance was via methylene blue (MB) under UVA light irradiation. AB photoanode (with exhibited excellent PEC performance, 95.9% color efficiency 63% total carbon (TOC) efficiency, compared 92% 56% TOC A (without P25). kinetic constants (k) were 134 × 10−4, 110 10−4 (min−1) anodes, respectively, MB followed first-order kinetics all anodes. anodes as electrodes PEC, photocatalysis (PC), technologies. Subsequently, utilized compare PC, technologies MB. showed higher PC technologies, (%) efficiencies (PEC), 33% 21% 28% 19% Additionally, photooxidation process had 2.1% effect initial concentration.

Sol-gel Synthesis of ZnO Nanoparticles and ZnO-TiO2-SiO2 Nanocomposites and Their Photo-catalyst Investigation in Methylene Blue Degradation

In this work firstly ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized via a simple precipitation method. At the second step titanium dioxide and silicon dioxide shell were synthesized on the core. For preparation ZnO-TiO2-SiO2 the sol product was calcinated at 500 ºC for 2h. Properties of the product were examined by X-raydiffraction pattern (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier transform inf...

Rapid degradation of methylene blue in a novel heterogeneous Fe3O4 @rGO@TiO2-catalyzed photo-Fenton system

Herein, a ternary nanocomposite with TiO2 nanoparticles anchored on reduced graphene oxide (rGO)-encapsulated Fe3O4 spheres (Fe3O4@rGO@TiO2) is presented as a high efficient heterogeneous catalyst for photo-Fenton degradation of recalcitrant pollutants under neutral pH. Fe3O4@rGO@TiO2 was synthesized by depositing TiO2 nanoparticles on the surface of the Fe3O4 spheres wrapped by graphene oxide ...
